Candle Safety Guidelines

• Never leave burning candles unattended
• Keep candles away from flammable materials
• Keep away from children and pets
• Trim wicks to quarter-inch length before lighting
• Use appropriate candle holders on stable, heat-resistant surfaces
• Ensure proper ventilation in the room
• Remove cellophane wrapping before use
• Avoid burning candles completely down - extinguish when 1cm of wax remains
• Store candles in cool, dry locations away from direct sunlight
• Never move a burning candle
• Keep the wax pool free of debris
• Extinguish candles if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly
• Use a snuffer to extinguish candles - do not blow them out
